Beloved wife and mother, Anna "Ann" Marguerite (Tull) Nugent went to be with the Lord on September 24, 2009 in Hallett, OK at the age of 73 years, 7 months, and 2 days old.
Funeral services have been entrusted to the Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK and will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday October 3, 2009 in the First Christian Church in Hallett with Reverend Mark Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Hallett Cemetery.

Ann was born on February 22, 1936 at the family farm west of Jennings, OK. She was the daughter of William Marion and Anna Jemima (Burris) Tull. Ann was the seventh of eight children.

Ann married Thomas William "T.W." Nugent on December 21, 1954 in Cushing, OK. They were married for 54 years. They lived in several different places and wherever they lived they always filled their home with love.

Ann had several different jobs throughout her life. She loved working with people. Her most recent job was working at the Hallett Race Track. She loved her job and worked until her health required her to quit. One of Ann's favorite pastimes was playing cards with her sister Barbara, and keeping everyone in line.

She is survived by her husband T.W. of Hallett, OK; one son, Thomas Christopher Nugent of Tucson, AZ; two daughters, Lisa Ann and husband Robert Schutte of Kearney, NB and Loretta Lynn Nugent of Kearney, NB; five grandchildren, Barbie Schutte, Bobby and wife Mandy Schutte, Kandice Ann Nugent all of Kearney, NB, Thomas and wife Stephanie Nugent of Holdridge, NB, and Lisa Nugent of Tucson, AZ; two great-grandchildren, Austin and Hailey Nugent of Holdridge, NB; one sister Barbara and husband Lewis Dressler of Hallett, OK; one brother Marvin and wife Betty of La Porte, CO; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna Tull; five brothers, Junior, John, Dale George, and Jessie Tull; and three grandchildren, Trey Nugent, Cristy Nugent, and Timothy Nugent.

Ann loved her grandchildren and was very proud of them all. She always had a story or two to tell you about them. Ann was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
