Calanthe Lodge lost one of its oldest past Chancellors, John B. Daughton who was buried with Pythian honors last Monday. He joined the order in Mount Vernon Lodge No. 5 in July 1867, passing through the stations in that lodge. Several years ago he transferred to Harmony Lodge No. 21 and became a member of Calanthe Lodge when the former lodge consolidated with the latter. Interment was at Oak Hill Cemetery.
