Born in Quincy, Mrs. Pease moved to Cape Cod at the age of 16 and lived in Centerville for more than 70 years. She enjoyed the company of friends and family, and traveling throughout New England. In later years, she became an avid reader.
Mrs. Pease is survived by three sons, James Brown of Centerville, Donald Brown of Freeport, Maine, and Gerald Pease Jr. of Centerville; and a daughter, Vicki Marchant of Barnstable. Also surviving are two siblings, Elsie Carey of Lakeville and Richard Raitto of Hyannis; 13 grandchildren; more than 10 great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Donald Raitto; three sisters, Sylvia Schlager, Dora Merzi and Ellen Pease; and a stepdaughter, Siri Peterson.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at Crocker Park Cemetery in West Barnstable. All are welcome to attend.
