Death of Mrs. Emma Lucier Sharpe
Mrs. Emma Lucier Sharpe, 71, widow of O.T. Sharpe of 99 Maple street, died at the Dickinson hospital yesterday afternoon after a short illness. She was born in this town, a daughter of Henry and Leonora Duso Lucier. She was married in Los Angeles in October, 1924, to O.T. Sharpe, who died on September 10, 1942. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception parish. Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Grace L. Putnam of this town, and a nephew, Henry King of Detroit. The funeral will be held from the O'Brien funeral home on Thursday morning at 8:30, followed by a high Mass of requiem at 9 at the Immaculate Conception church. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Northampton.
