Wayne Eugene Sweetwood, 61, of Waukegan, Il. passed away on Friday Feb 19, 1993 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, Il. He was born Sept 6, 1931 in Waukegan and remained a life resident. He was a CPL in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Gurnee American Legion and Tiny's Social Club. He was employed at NAPA Auto Parts of Waukegan. He is survived by 2 daughters, Suzanne Marie Sweetwood of Chicago and Lisa Kay Sweetwood of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Margaret Sweetwood of Waukegan; 1 brother John Sweetwood of Gurnee, Il. and his sister Joyce Dever of Waukegan; also by 2 nephews, 1 neice and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, John Sweetwood. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday Feb 22, 1993 at the Peterson Funeral Home, 408 N Sheridan Road, Waukegan, Il. with Rev. Dr. Gehl Devore officiating. Interment will be at Warren Cemetery, Gurnee, Il.
