BALDRIGE - Death of an Estimable Lady - We are sorry to record the death of Mrs. Laura Baldrige, daughter of Mr. Jacob Mattern and wife of H. M. Baldrige, Esq., suddenly on Wednesday the first inst., aged thirty-five years. Mrs. Baldrige was in failing health for some months past, but no one supposed her end was so near. She had been on a trip to Niagara, and other places a couple weeks ago, but returned little improved in health. On the day before, and morning of her death, she was up and about her house. She leaves a husband and five small children. She was an estimable christian lady, and loved by all her acquaintances and friends, who mourn her departure, but console themselves with the assurance that hers is a happy immortality.
