MARIE HENNINGS
Marie was the wife
of the great
Southwestern artist,
Earnest Hennings.
Her portrait -
painted by her husband -
is presented at the right.
They lived for a period
of time in the Depression
era and afterwards,
in Taso, New Mexico.
There - her husband was
elected as a member of the
TAOS SOCIETY OF ARTIST.
Today, the Henning's gracious,
large home has been recognized
by with placement on the
National Register of Historic Places.
It was named:
'THE WILLOWS';
It has been converted into a
Bed & Breakfast.
