Eric Matthew Henry May 18, 1993 - April 29, 2009 Eric Matthew Henry, 15, of Centre Hall, died Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at his residence. He was born May 18, 1993, in State College, a son of Sarah L. Smith Henry of Madisonburg and Randall B. Henry of Centre Hall. Eric was a tenth grade student at Penns Valley High School. He had graduated from Patton Township Junior Police Academy, and was enrolled in the Protective Services Program at the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology at Pleasant Gap. Eric served as a volunteer for the SPCA. He enjoyed wildlife, fishing and attending Grange Fair. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Dustin at home, and his paternal grandparents Gerald and Norma Henry of Spring Mills; and numerous Aunts and Uncles. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Paul and Patricia Smith. Friends will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, with the Reverend Michael Covalt officiating. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the S. P. C. A. 2451 General Potter Highway, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
