MOOREFIELD-Rites for Marcellus A. Runions, 79, who died here recently, were held May 29th in the Oak Grove Methodist Church with Rev. Paul E. Sutton officiating. Interment was in Kessel Cemetery.
Mr. Runions was a son of the late Adam and Arcella (Sindy) Runions. He was married twice, his first wife was the former Gertrude Henderson Mongold and his second the former Mrs. Belle Miller.
Surviving are four daughters and four sons by his first marriage; Mrs. Cora Crites, Mrs. Joe Miller, and Mrs. Dick See, Moorefield, and Mrs. Mabel Crites, Fisher; Burley Runions, Howard Runions, Harry Runions and Brownley Runions, all of Moorefield; a sister, Mrs. Annie Shears, Cumberland.
