Spc. Levi Clark, graduated from Ganado High School and enlisted straight into the Army in 2006 where he was a combat engineer with the 370th Engineer Company. The 370th was his first duty assignment after basic training and engineer school. He was respected by both his peers and his leadership. His main job in Iraq was route clearance operations. His platoon was the first to find an explosively formed penetrator, an especially powerful bomb, in Iraq's Wasit province. He is survived by his mother, Charlene Kaamasee of St. Michaels, Arizona. Levi was found unresponsive on the ground outside his barracks building by unit personnel. Just a day prior to his death, Clark had returned from a 13-month deployment to Iraq. Survivors include his parents Charlene Kamassee; brother Charles Clark; sisters Chantel Kamassee, Chanti Kamasee and his grandmother Christine Woodman. He was preceded in death by father Alexander Clark; grandparents Levi Whitegoat, Mike clark and Mary A. Long.
