Rev. Wickliffe Y. Abraham, a well known Baptist Minister, died suddenly of heart disease Monday afternoon in Richmond.

He was on his way from the session of the General Association of Staunton and was stricken while on a street car. Death resulted in a few minutes.

Mr. Abraham was a member of a prominent Virginia family and was well known throughout the South. He filled several important pastorates.

He had given up ministry due to deafness and had for several years been involved in the typewriter business.

He is survived by his mother, widow and two children.
