The first Nevada-born first lady, Una Reilly was born in Hamilton,Nv where she married Denver S. Dickerson April 23, 1904. The Dickersons, who had eight children, moved into the mansion upon the death of Governor John Sparks in 1908 where their daughter June, born September 2, 1909, was the only child born in the mansion. After Denver's death in 1925, Una became a librarian at the Law Library in Reno until her retirement. Una Dickerson died in Reno on April 9, 1959.
