Nora P. Cartwright, 85, of Memphis, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at Wesley Highland Manor. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Cartwright was preceded in death by her husband Jack R. Cartwright in 1996 and a granddaughter Jennifer Cartwright in 1994. She is survived by her son; Clarence "Skip" Cartwright, two daughters; Beverly Ray and Judy Ellis, two sisters; Mrs. Jack Jenkins and Charlene Keene, five grandchildren; Matthew Ellis, Joey Ray, Shelby Ellis, Corbin Barber, and Corey Smith and a great-grandchild Kegan Ellis. The visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., May 14, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A visitation will also be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 15 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 15 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cross Roads Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
