Obituary: James E. Lott Succumbs at 62

James Edward Lott, 62 of Rt. 2, Pineville, died at 6:40 a.m. Friday in an Alexandria hospital. Prior to retirement, he was employed for 29 years with the engineering division at Veterans Administration Hospital here. He was a member of Soloman Lodge No. 221 of the F& AM.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mary M. Lott of Pineville, two sons, Donald Ray Lott and Edward Eugene Lott, both of Pineville, Cletis Lott of Alexandria and Cleo Lott of Peterson, Iowa; six sisters, Mrs. Thelma Dorsick of Jacklson, Mrs. Ethel White of Shreveport, Mrs. Rhoda Hooter and Mrs. Arah Stallings, both of Alexandria, and Mrs. Lemoria Blum and Mrs. Mary Lee Ates, both of Pineville, and one grandson.

Funeral services were to be held at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Hixson Bros. in Alexandria with Rev. Donald McCormick officiating. Burial was to be in Springhill cemetery at Ball.
