Mrs. Ida May Bostic, 86, of 1006 South Maple Street and one of Olney's finest citizens.

Mrs. Bostic had been a resident of Olney since 1916. She and her family moved here from Willow Hill.

She was born May 8, 1880 in Jasper County, daughter of John and Rachel Collins Harmon.

Her husband Robert Allen Bostic died February 12, 1959.

Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lee (Lula) Steward and Mrs. Cleo Harms and two sons, Walter and Orion all of Olney. There are also nine grandchildren, twenty three great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Edith Colvin, who died in 1927; three brothers and two sisters.
