Mrs. Celestia Kathryn Boyles Adams, 103, of Ridgeway, Virginia, went Home to be with Her Lord and Savior on Thursday afternoon, March 12, 2009, at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville, Virginia.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, March 15, at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Benny Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Overlook Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born in Leaksville (now Eden) on September 30, 1905, a daughter of Bart and Sarah Cheshire Talbert, both deceased. She was a homemaker and was a charter member of Spray Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Eric Robert Boyles and Robert Adams, and her sister, Mrs. Margaret Williams Rodgers.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Imogene "Sissy" Martin of Reidsville; her son, Philip Robert Boyles and wife, Frances, of Ridgeway; her grandchildren, Sarah Martin and Joey Martin and wife, Becky; her great-grandson, Eric Martin and wife, Megan; and her great-great-grandchildren, Liam and Josh Martin.
