JOSEPH L. HOISTAD Born April 22, 1922 in Ramsey County, North Dakota, died February 26, 2009 in Los Angeles County, California. Joe was married to Rebecca "Jane" Brandenburg in 1954. They had two children, Janice and Joseph "Scott". Scott predeceased his Dad in 2001. Joe served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-1949. He retired from Rocketdyne in 1984. Joe was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Arleta. He was also a member of the Masonic lodge in Granada Hills. Joe is survived by his wife, Jane; daughter, Janice; Scott's daughters, Sarah and Julia; and his brothers, Albert and Garland.
