Mrs. Wilson was born February 25, 1940, in Crystal Springs. She graduated from Crystal Springs High School and lived in Crystal Springs her entire life. Her working career included employment at South Central Bell, Trucker's Exchange Bank, and Mississippi Job Corp. She retired at the family owned business of Wilson's Slaughter House, Inc.
She loved the Lord and was an active member of New Zion Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, and spending time with her loving husband, Pops, and loving family, and her many friends. She was known as Tessie, Nana, SueSue, wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was loved by all and will be missed dearly.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Hazle Hemphill and daughters, Rebecca McClelland and Michelle Westrup.
She is survived by husband, James J. "Jack" Wilson; children, Boots (Careen) Wilson, Debra (William) Wilson, Vickie (Ricky) Jasper, Tammy Stowe, LeAnne (Rick) Williams, Jamie (June) Grantham, Sandy (Mickey) Smith, and Jack Jr. (Michelle) Wilson; sister, Nelda (Allen) Sullivan; 33 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
