Theodora Rizzuto March 18, 1917 - February 11, 2009 Norwich, CT - Theodora N. Rizzuto 91, of 99 Washington St. died Wed., Feb. 11, 2009 at the Norwichtown Rehab. and Care Center in Norwich. She was born in Hartford, CT on March 18, 1917, daughter of the late Nickolas and Filamena (Piacenza) Pappagallo. Mrs. Rizzuto worked as a nurse's aide at the Norwich State Hospital for many years. On April 20, 1936 she was united in marriage to Arthur B. Rizzuto. Mr. Rizzuto died on January 28, 2005. Theodora was predeceased by one daughter Jana Laudone and a son Gary Rizzuto, a Great grandson Anthony Laudone, two brothers Michael Pappagallo and Pasqualle Pappagallo. Mrs. Rizzuto is survived by one son Robert Rizzuto and his fiancée, Jane of Albany, ME, a brother Vito Pappagallo of Norwich, a son in law, James Laudone of Lisbon, nine Grandchildren, fifteen Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren. The funeral will assemble on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009 at 9AM at the Cummings - Gagne Funeral Home 82 Cliff St. Norwich, CT and proceed to a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Norwich. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich.
