Stanley B. Creech, age 74 of Connersville, passed away on January 29, 2009 at Heritage House of Connersville where he had been a resident for a week.
Born on March 31, 1934 in Owsley, Kentucky, he is the son of Andrew Francis and Nettie Pearl Creech.
Stanley served with the National Guard where he retired after 22 years. He was a member of the Harrisburg Union Church. He retired on June 1, 2006 from Visteon and its predecessors after 39 years of service.
In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, working on lawn mowers and socializing with his many friends. He also loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Bunch Creech, who he married on July 3, 1963 in Milroy, IN; two daughters, Ellen Russell and Rhonda Creech and her companion Rob Bannon, all of Connersville; a son and daughter in law, Roger & Amy Creech of Georgetown, KY; a sister and brother in law, Jean and Roy Brown of Connersville; six grandchildren, Heather & Courtney Russell, Alex & Gabe Creech and Raegan & Robbie Bannon; several nieces and nephews; and his constant companion, his beloved dog, Jasmine.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Finney and Serena Loyd and an infant sister, Cledith Creech.
