Relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Berle are invited to attend the funeral service of the former at Beth Elohim Cemetery, Huguenin Ave., Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at one o'clock.
Mr. Berle was born March 26, 1916 in Charleston, S.C., the son of Phillip and Bella Berlinsky.
He was a member of Beth Elohim Temple and serviced in the U.S. Army during W.W.II.
He is survived by his wife of Charleston, S.C; two step-daughters, Harriet D. Keith and her husband Daulton of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Susan D. Slotnick and her husband Howard of Armonk, NY; one grandson, Sean Borsey of New York City; son-in- law, William P. Borsey of New York City; three brothers, Herbert Berlinsky and his wife Jackie, Danny Berlinsky and his wife Ruth, Norman Berlinsky and his wife Eve, and one sister, Barbara Stine and her husband Gordan, all of Charleston, S.C.; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter, Susan Martincak and sister Hattie B. Olasov.
