Richard E. McClellan, 83, 1348 Pebbel Ct., Cincinnati, OH, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 10:50 A.M. at Vitas Inpatient Unit At Drake Center in Cincinnati.
He was born on June 4, 1925 in Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Huey and Cora (Taylor) McClellan. On September 10, 1952 he married Caryl Maether who preceded him in death on August 1, 2002.
He is survived by three children, Huey T. McClellan of London, OH, Mrs. Joseph (Elizabeth) Corcorn of Cincinnati, Oh., and Mrs. Glen (Bonnie) Cole of Lectonia, Oh.: five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren: and one sister Mrs. Don (Marjorie) Ritterbusch of Houston, TX.
One daughter, Jo Helen McClellan preceded him in death.
Dick was a retired office manager for Crane Heating and Air Conditioning in Cincinnati and a former charter member of the Sidney Jaycees. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Sidney.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 9,2008 at 11 A.M. from the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave. with Rev. Joe M. Hinds III officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10 A.M. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
