Dr. Anthony Rader was the son of George Rader and Jane (McCoy) Rader. He was a doctor during the civil war and also served terms in the West Virginia House of Delegates in 1870 and 1872 and the State Senate from 1865-1868, and 1871-1872. He was married to Mary Jane Sparr, Tellitha McCoy, Elizabeth Stevenson, and Jenette Koontz.
