William Irvin was a farmer like his father working several in the area. Mr Garner employed him as well. His father & mother were Newton McNabb 1856-1926 & Pruda Ella Breece 1860- all of Hickman Co. William married Maggie Lee Leathers 1898-1994 both buried at Oakmond Cemetery. They had 10 children being Robert David 1913-2001, Walter Ernst bib 1916-2001, James Mathews 1921-1979, Eula Mai 1924-1995, Austin P 1925-2011, Thomas Jefferson 1927-2000, Mary Ella 1928-2004, Dorthy Sue 1932, Shelbie Geane 1934, Malcomb Red E 1936-2002. All buried at Oakmond Cemetery. The sons also worked the farm with William & lived in the areas of Only Nunnelly & Beaver Dam.
