MICHAEL ANDREW CALIENDO Age 41, of Simi Valley died Saturday, June 28, 2008. Mike was born February 20, 1967 in Los Angeles and has been a Simi Valley Resident for nearly 30 years. Mike is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy Caliendo; daughters, Sydney and Amber Caliendo; parents, Linda Casas, Frank Casas and Dr. Ted Caliendo; brothers, Rob ert Caliendo, Joshua Casas, Greg Casas and Ira Casas; the entire Kay Family, including many other beloved family members and friends. He was an avid motorcyclist, and loved all six of his "Ducks". He enjoyed weight training, going to the races, watching sports, firearms, and had a passion for Ducati's. In addition to his profession as an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for Newhall Land, he was also a local icon in the world of Security as a skilled and trained professional. He was extremely we ll respected in the community and will be remembered as an honorable man. Anyone who knew him understood that Mike always had their back. His competitive nature inspired others to be their best and he always loved to be the winner and set the example. To know Mike, was to love Mike. Mike was exceptionally devoted to his wife and children. He truly loved watching his girls play soccer, dance and sing around the house and cuddling up with them on the couch. Spending time with his girls was always his fir st priority, and brought him the greatest joy of all. He strove to be the best dad possible because his daughters Sydney and Amber were truly the light of his life. Mike will "Always and Forever" be in the hearts of us all.
