Born to Joseph D. and Bertha Wardell Davis, she married Paul B. Scrogum on Nov. 22, 1930, in Vermont, Ill. He died April 19, 1982.
She also was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one great-granddaughter, five brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Benjamin and James (Sandy); two daughters, Phyllis (Walter) Wolfe and Carol Ann (Herbert) Shaw; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Geneva Brewer and Margaret Danner; and one brother, Harold "Punk" Davis.
She was the owner/operator of Summum Trading Post in Summum for eight years.
