She was born in Thomas, Okla., the daughter of George and Lizzie Allen Andrus, and married Evangelist Charles Evan Bainum on July 26, 1928. Mrs. Bainum was a resident of Chatham for the last seven years and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Saundra.
Surviving are her husband, Evangelist Charles Evan Bainum; two daughters, Mrs. George (Shirley) Hare, Mrs. Dwight (Barbara) Morrison; five sons, Donald A., Stephen, Philip, John Paul, Joseph; 19 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Shay Mouchettee, Mrs. Ada Edwards, Mrs. Faye Baker; three brothers, Harry, Allen and Dick Andrus.
Services at Faith Baptist Church with burial in Chatham Memorial Cemetery.
