Mrs. Lillian Cooper of 2527 Kings Hwy. died Tuesday in Schumpert Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was 72.

The Many native had lived in Shreveport 30 years and was a member of Midway Church of Christ.

The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the South Side Chapel of Rose-Neath Funeral Home with Wayne Fussell of Midway Church of Christ officiating.

Burial will be in Centuries Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Cooper's survivors include her husband, Joseph F. Cooper, a son, Harold Cooper of Shreveport, three daughters, Mrs. Christine Walker and Mrs. Melba Davis, both of Shreveport, and Mrs. Ruth Montgomery of Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Irene Fletcher and Mrs. Stella Farrar, both of Shreveport, a brother, Hoot Rains of Shreveport; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Montgomery, Wayne Walker, Ronnie Griffing, Robbie Walker, Dale Rains, Billy Walden, Don Farrar and James Fletcher.
