Gordon's priorities in life were his faith in God, his children, and his granddaughter. He had been a member of the Harrisburg Union Church for over 25 years. He was a Human Resources Manager for Design & Manufacturing for 20 years before going to work for WCI through its transition to Frigidaire and later Schrock Cabinet Company. The most recent phase of his career sent him to Greenville, Michigan, with Frigidaire.
Survivors include his three daughters: Summer Steele of Hope, Courtney Creech, and Katie Creech, both of Connersville; a granddaughter: Katherine Bryanne Steele of Hope; his mother: Helen Stewart and her husband Donald of Muncie; brother: Neal Creech and his wife Cathy of North Carolina; his former wife and mother of his children: Linda Burris of Centerville, OH, one niece and one nephew.
Proceeding him in death is his father; an infant sister: Cathy Earline Creech; and his best buddy: Barkley.
