Michael Daniel Schirm II, age 3, of Hannibal, NY, left this world far too soon, unexpectedly on April 14th, 2024. Born on October 6th, 2020, in Syracuse, NY to the parents of Ashley Meeks and Michael Schirm.
Michael was a beloved son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew and buddy. Despite his short time with us, Michael's impact was profound. His infectious laughter could brighten the darkest of days. His spirit was filled with boundless curiosity and wonder for the world around him. He enjoyed testing his limits and trying to keep up with his sisters. Though faced with challenges from an early age, he displayed unwavering courage, resilience and strength, touching countless lives around him.
Michael leaves behind grieving and beloved: parents Ashley Meeks, Michael Schirm; Older sisters, Alyssa Leonard and Norah Meeks; Maternal grandparents, Norma Meeks; Robert (Jenie) Meeks, Paternal grandmother Cathy Schirm; Uncles Rob and John Schirm; Aunts, Heather Meeks, Meghan (Jay) Sims; Cousins, Karter, Everlee and Orion.
We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Michael forever. Though his physical presence may no longer grace us, his memory and love will live on through the lives he touched during his time here on earth.
Calling hours will be held Friday, April 26th. 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Whelan Bros. & Hulchanski Funeral Home, 5854 Belle Isle Road, Syracuse, NY 13209.
