Stella Marion Barclay Webb, born in 1910, was the daughter of Leonard Webb, a solicitor, and Hilda Webb (née Barclay). On October 14, 1936, she qualified as a solicitor and practiced until 1987. Stella was a devout member of the Religious Society of Friends and played a crucial role in establishing The Haven, a refuge home for European refugees in Dublin.
After retirement Stella was deeply engaged in the Irish Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament.
