Eldest child of Domenico and Rose Campagna. Born in either Chiasura Sclafani, Sicily, or Rocculemera, Sicily. Emigrated to the U.S. with his parents in 1899. Came through Ellis Island. In 1903 he returned to Sicily with his parents and younger sibling John in order to await the birth of my grandfather, Antonino Guiseppe Campagna. In March 1905, the family came back to New York, eventually settling in Garfield, New Jersey. In the 1920s, Rose, Carl, Johnny, Tony, and three younger U.S. born sisters, Edna Mary, and Emily, moved west and lived in Los Angeles, CA. Carl was a veteran of WWII. He died June 12, 1989. No evidence of a spouse or children could be located.
