Comedian. Jesús Roberto Garza Villarreal, widely known as 'La Bala', was born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, where he predominantly pursued his career. His artistic journey commenced in 1996 with the production 'La Bala en vivo', a blend of music and comedy highlighted by his imitations, which swiftly became his trademark. 'La Bala' garnered recognition as a comedian, musician, and singer, earning acclaim for his unparalleled humor and imitations that resonated across Mexico, spanning both theater and television. Throughout his career, he released two musical albums. In subsequent years, he was invited to appear on the prestigious television program "Siempre en domingo", hosted by Raúl Velasco, where his performances, marked by numerous imitations, were met with resounding success. This exposure led to repeated invitations to the show in the following years. By 1999, his fame had escalated to a national scale upon joining the cast of the television show "Humor es... los comediantes", conceived and hosted by the renowned comedian Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo, aired on Televisa from 1999 to 2001. This platform provided opportunities for various independent comedians, featuring notable names such as Jorge Falcón, Teo González, Liliana Arriaga, Carlos Eduardo Rico, and Omar Alonso, among others. Moreover, Jesús Roberto participated in several other comedy programs including "Mira que bonito", "Noches de humor", "Noche a noche contigo", "La casa de la risa", "Día a día", and "Sabadazo", among others. Garza gained prominence for his imitations of prominent figures in Mexican music and entertainment, such as Alejandro Fernández, Vicente Fernández, Armando Manzanero, Juan Gabriel, Valentín Elizalde, Raphael, Lola Beltrán, and Agustín Lara, among others. Additionally, he showcased his talent as a voice impersonator, with one of his most notable characters being his imitation of Donald Duck, which he portrayed with his characteristic wit. In theater, he produced shows such as "Tenorio Cómico, el Día de muertos" in 2018, and "El Tenorio Hecho Bala". Jesús Roberto Garza passed away on March 22, 2024, due to a heart attack, following several days of hospitalization due to complications related to a hernia.
