Argentinian Lady born in Bahia Blanca, married on August 24, 1938 to Dr. José María Velasco Ibarra, 5 times Constitutional President of Ecuador . She was possessed of a broad cultural education: completed the elementary school at the French Institute Jean D 'Arc, then studied piano at the Alberto Williams Conservatory of his hometown. She also completed advanced studies in Harmony, Composition, Counterpoint and Fugue. Product of these artistic interests, she composed several works of classic and folk Ecuadorian music stylings. addition, was a talented writer who wrote several works. Her complete works were published by the House of Ecuadorian Culture. She died of wounds received at falling from a bus in Buenos Aires, where she shared her husband's exile. Her remains were repatriated to Ecuador on September 15, 1979. Devastated by grief, her husband returned to their homeland "to meditate and die" as he said to his friends. He died 50 days after his wife.
