She was a member of American Legion Post 69 Auxiliary, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Notre Dame Church, where she served as an Eucharistic minister and was a member of the choir and the Legion of Mary. She was also a member of the DAR and was a volunteer at United Helpers Adult Home and United Helpers Nursing Homes.
Surviving were a son and daughter, a brother and sister, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A son, Richard, died before her.
