Funeral Services celebrating the life of Gary Richard Bruno 81 of Palm Coast will be on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach. The family will receive friends on Friday March 25 from 2:00 until the time of services. A reception will be held immediately following the services. Mr. Bruno, a resident of Palm Coast since 1998, coming from Long Island NY, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Market Street Memory Care. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 17, 1940, the only son of Joseph and Josephine Leone Bruno. Mr. Bruno retired as Vice President/General Manager of a Government Bond Company and had been associated for over 18 years with Winn-Dixie in Palm Coast. He was an avid New York Yankees fan, enjoyed working and keeping his time occupied. He also enjoyed a good cigar, dancing and was always the last to leave the dance floor. He loved his "Devil Dogs!" A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, he is survived by his wife of 60 years June (Eyring), a son Joseph and his wife Noreen of Glen Rock NJ, his daughter, Jill Brierton of Westhampton NY, his former son-in-law Peter Brierton and 6 grandchildren he loved dearly, Matthew, Arianna, Connor, Kaitlyn, Alex and Drew. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Market Street for the exceptional care and love given to Gary while he resided there. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
