James Ira Allen, Jr, age 65, of Atlanta, Texas died Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Linden Health Care. James was born November 18, 1950, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Dr. James Allen, Sr. and wife Patricia. He was in trailer sales. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. James Allen, Sr., brother, Pat Allen and sister, Mary Angel. He is survived by his wife of thirty-seven years, Mary Allen of Atlanta, Texas; his mother, Patricia Allen of Nacogdoches, Texas; two sons, James Ira Allen,III and wife Sancy of Anna, Texas, Jeffery Tate Allen and future wife, Lauren Caraway of Atlanta, Texas; a sister, Ann Harris and husband Robert of Lufkin, Texas; two grandchildren, Rylan and Haylee; and a number of other relatives. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 7240 Chase Oaks Blvd, Plano, Texas 75025. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
