Mary was the daughter of Ben Henry and Lucindy Lockhart. She was educated in the Russell County School System. She worked several jobs in her early years before becoming a Homemaker. She enjoyed tending her flowers and garden, shopping and cooking. She was a member of Mt Canaan Baptist Church in Cottonton, Alabama.
She was married to John Otis Abron for 54 years.

Services were held Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 12PM in the C. T. Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.
