Alida Chelli was an Italian singer and actress. Born with the name of Alida Rustichelli, she was the daughter of the composer Carlo Rustichelli and sister of the composer Paolo Rustichelli. She achieved her success as a singer with the song "Sinnò me moro" in the 1959 film The Facts of Murder. Then, she achieved great stage fame, starring in numerous successful musical comedies such as Rugantino (1978), Cyrano (1979) and Aggiungi un posto a tavola (1990). She also appeared in many movies, mostly comedies and TV shows. In 1969 she married Italian actor Walter Chiari, with whom she had a son, TV presenter Simone Annicchiarico. After their divorce in 1972, she had a relationship with the TV presenter Pippo Baudo. She died in Rome after a long illness.
