Betty V. Rasmussen of Fort Myers died at home on September 15, 1995. Betts had been president of the Cypress Lakes Country Club Ladies Golf Association, and an active member of the Fort Myers Beach Art Association. Born in Kansas City, Mo., she lived in Hawaii, Iran, Washington D.C., Turkey, and other places before settling in Fort Myers in 1964. Betts is survived by her husband, Philip; her children; Philip II, Michael, and Ann; her grandchildren....her mother, Dellah (sic) who lives in Wheaton, Ill. Friends are invited to gather in memory of Betts at the Cypress Lakes Country Club at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 1995.In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Hope Hospice.
