Masonic graveside services for Howard Walton Claypool, 93, of Logan, N.M., formerly of Sundown, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Sundown Cemetery with Levelland Lodge No. 1236 A.F.&A.M. officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors of Levelland.
He died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002.
He was born April 2, 1909, in Pennsylvania, grew up in Okmulgee, Okla., and moved his family to the Sundown area in 1938. He married Ina Mae Russell in 1935 in Eufaula, Okla. He was an oil field pumper of 121 wells, and retired in 1998.
He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows Lodge and Levelland Lodge No. 1236 A.F.&A.M.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John of Logan; and a daughter, Crescent Hudspeth of Amarillo.
