MAGER--In this city, on the 9th inst., John Jacob Meger,in the [?]8th year of his age. The relatives and friends of the family, also employees of cable shop of John A Roebling's Sons' company, are invited to attend the funeral from his late residence, No 801 Roebling Avenue, on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Interment at Riverview Cemetery at convenience of the family.

The funeral of John Jacob Mager took place yesterday afternoon from his late residence, 801 Roebling avenue. Interment was made om Riverview Cemetery, under the direction of Poulson & Coleman. The bearers were brothers-in-law of Mr. Mager, and included Frank Asay, Charles Croasdale, George Croasdale, George Sassaman, William Croasdale and Lester Murphy.
Mr. Mager was 36 years old and the son of Rose and the late Jacob Mager. He was an athlete and quite popular. He was in the service of the United States Navy for several years and served on board the Yosemite, Minneapolis and Puritan.
A widow and three brothers, George F., Edwin L., and Albert R. Mager survive.
