Edra is survived by her loving sister, Linda Stauffer of Spring Grove and four children, Chris Potter of Hanover, Laura Spears of Winchester, Va., Julie Kuhn of Hanover and Sara Lucky of Denver, Pa. She was the proud grandmother to seven grandchildren, Nicole, Derek, Kyle, Kasie, Chloe, Nicholas and the newest edition, Johnny Potter, born Friday March 7, 2008. She was preceded in death by an infant son.
Edra graduated from Littlestown High School in 1957 and Marjorie Webster Junior College in 1959. She was an outstanding basketball player in high school and college. Edra's greatest pleasure came from being a homemaker and mother and supporting her children through all of their athletic careers and lives. She continued her love for athletics by being actively involved in the Littlestown Bolt Booster Club. She received the Distinguished Service Award in 1998 for her service to the Bolt Booster Club. She was also honored by the Littlestown Alumni Association with a Distinguished Service Award in 2007 for her loyal service to the community of the Littlestown School District.
In her younger years, Edra served as president of the Junior Women's League and volunteered for Meals on Wheels. Edra loved gardening and spending time with her family and pets.
Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown.
