Violet Booth, 93, passed away March 23, 2004 at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was born July 4, 1910 in Ritchie County to Frank and Rozena McGill Fleming. She was a retired head cook from the Wood County School System with 24 years of service. She was a member of 7th Street United Methodist Church for over 70 years and a member of the Friendship Class at the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul in 1996. They were married for 66 years and lived at 1600 16th street Parkersburg. In addition to her parents and husband two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

She is survived by four children Donna Keenan and husband Boyd of Apex, NC, Paul Robert Booth and wife Marty of Vienna, Ruthann Cherry and husband Ted of Blacklick, OH, James Booth of Murray, KY; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday 11:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Reverend Dr. Joe Kenaston and Reverend L. Norman Butler officiating.

Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday 5-8 pm and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to 7th Street United Methodist Church.
