Ted Hamblin born October 10th 1940 to Edwin and Lily Hamblin in Eager, Arizona passed on February 14th, 2023. Ted Hamblin served his community as an administrator at San Juan County Detention Center and retired from 22 years of law enforcement in various departments of San Juan County. Ted was also the proud owner of many small businesses in San Juan county. Family was always Ted's first priority. On his time off Ted Hamblin enjoyed the outdoors and spent time camping and fishing and was also an accomplished horseman. Ted Hamblin was preceded in death by his parents Edwin & Lily Hamblin; his brother Ronald Hamblin; and his sisters Nadine Lee and Terrece Hamblin. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Collette Hamblin; his sons Kirk Hamblin (Sherry), Ty Hamblin (DeAnna); daughters Donielle Douthit (Jim) and Sharlin Maynard (Scott); sisters Rowane Webb and Angela Duncan; Grandchildren Brianne, Cynthia, Chad, Kale, Caden, Devyn, Sara; Great grandchildren Hadrian, Persephone, Gavin, Noah, Ryker, Wyatt. A private family gathering was held to honor Ted Hamblin.
