Philip E. Adams, 101, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, in Marlow.
Philip was born Friday, November 19, 1921, in El Dorado, KS, to Lon V. and Josephine (McDonough) Adams. He was a graduate of Cathedral High and later attended Washburn University and Wichita State. Philip was married to the love of his life, Norma "Louise" Eoff. They celebrated more than 50 wonderful years of marriage together. Philip and Louise were always together, rarely separated. He was a longtime member of the Catholic Church. He was very active in his church and loved his church family. Philip served as minister in the Immaculate Conception churches in Marlow and Duncan. He was a proud member of the United States Army and served in WWII with the 71st Infantry Division in the European Theatre. Philip enjoyed playing golf, dancing, and walking (5 miles a day). He loved animals and feeding his cats. Philip also loved taking cruises and going to Arizona in the winter time. He loved his family more than words could ever express. Philip will be missed deeply by all.

Philip is survived by his loving wife, Louise Adams of the home, son, John Mark Adams of Wichita, KS, 3 daughters, Connie Martin and husband Phil of Minneapolis, MN, Kittie Ringer and husband David of Dallas, TX, and Martha Green and husband Mike of Graham, TX, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Harriett L. Adams, beloved son, Paul Adams, precious daughter, Janice Anne, grandson, PT Adams and 3 brothers, Paul T. Adams, Robert Adams and Joseph Adams.
