Brent Lee Bloyer, of Bloomington, Wisconsin, died peacefully at the age of 53 on Friday, October 14, 2022 at his home in Pembroke Pines, Florida surrounded by his family.

Brent was born on March 3, 1969, to Vandy (Butch) and Patricia Bloyer in Boscobel, Wisconsin. He graduated from Bloomington High School in 1988 as Valedictorian and was a National Merit Scholar. He earned a Bachelor of Athletic Training from Northeast Missouri State University in 1992. He then went on to earn a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of Miami in 1995. Brent married Martha Lucia Henao in Coral Gables, Florida at St. Augustine Catholic Church on February 28, 1998. They moved to Pembroke Pines, Florida in the Fall of 1998 and started their family.

Brent started his professional life in 1995 as a physical therapist for Miami Dade County Public Schools where he worked for 27 years up until the time of his death. He had a strong work ethic and also worked at South Miami Hospital on weekends in the rehabilitation unit for many years. Additionally, Brent provided home based physical therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with disabilities up until the date of his diagnosis. His gift for engaging children and individuals with disabilities made him beloved to many families.

Brent was also a devoted baseball coach for the Pembroke Lakes Optimist Club recreation and travel teams. He loved to cook for his family and also took them out to eat and try foods from all over the world. As a young boy and teenager, he enjoyed playing sports, fishing, and hunting. As an adult, his hobbies were running, lifting weights, and going to the range. Brent was a thoughtful and devoted friend to many. He particularly enjoyed spending time with his friends watching sports and was a die-hard Green Bay Packer and UM Hurricanes football fan.

Brent exemplified the virtues of strong faith and dedication to the Catholic Church. He loved God and served others with true humility. He was an active member of a men's bible study group and met with them regularly. His children attended St. Mark Catholic School for several years and were brought up with a strong foundation for a faithful life.

Brent's great happiness was his family. He was a wonderful, husband, father, son, uncle, and brother in-law. He took great joy in his children and their accomplishments. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

Brent is survived by his wife Martha, his children Isaiah Josef, Elijah James, and Sarita Marie, his sisters Heidi (Rob) and Jody (Endel), his mother Patricia, his brother-in-law Carlos (Christy), his nieces Tricia (John), Allie and Keaunna (Anthony), his nephews Jace and Manuel, his great nephews Anthony Jr., Everett, and Kaevon and many friends.

Visitation will be held at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home from 4 to 8 PM Friday, October 21 with a service beginning at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 PM Saturday, October 22 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 5601 S Flamingo Rd, Southwest Ranches, FL 33330. Private entombment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery, 11411 NW 25th St, Doral, FL 33172 following the Mass.
