Age 80, died Monday, February 4, 2008 at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Al was born in Belding, MI, August 13, 1927, the son of Clayton and Iva (Strong) Ealy. He served in the United States Army post WW2 in Japan. On January 31, 1948 he married Mary Anne Jorgensen. Following grad-uation from Michigan State University he taught science, vocational agriculture, and was FFA advisor for 34 years at Saline high School. He served his community through Kiwanis as a charter member, Saint Joseph Mercy Saline Hospital Auxiliary, Rentschler Farm Museum, Habitat for Humanity, and as a member of the Saline Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, and a sister, Audrey. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Anne, daughters Becky (Jack) Geddes, Belinda Carter, Barbara (Robert) Wild, 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a brother, Leo Ealy, and sister, Verna Beth Rood.
