Galion Man Dies Today
GALION -- Robert S. Brown, 41, of Harding Way East, died at 4:30 a.m. today at the Tuscarawas hospital in New Philadelphia after an eight-week illness. He had been taken there Monday.
Born in Galion, May 12, 1904, Mr. Brown married Estella Yeager who died several years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. William Emmer of Crestline; one brother, Lester Brown and one sister, Mrs. Paul Allwine, both of Galion. Mr. Brown was a member of the Eagles lodge here.
The body will be at the Volk Funeral home after Thursday noon. Services will be held there Friday at 3 p.m. with burial in Fairview cemetery. (Mansfield News-Journal, Mansfield, Ohio, Wednesday, 20 Feb 1946, page 2)
