Clyde Irene (Trucks) Van Hook 104 of Clifton went home to her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, February 2, 2022. Born in Pinson, Alabama, she resided in Clifton for the past 80 years. Clyde was employed as an office manager for the Passaic Rubber Co. in Wayne for over 25 years prior to her retirement.

She was a dedicated member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Clifton for the past 65 years who served on the Board of Trustees, the Board of Missionaries and the Board of Deaconesses. Clyde was also the founder of the church's Annual Yard Sale and Christmas Shop. She was awarded the "Key to the City" by Clifton Mayor James Anzaldi at her 100th birthday.

Clyde is predeceased by her husband, Samuel "Sam" Van Hook in 1997, by a sister, Edith Alein Murphee Rhodes and by five brothers, James Carl Trucks, Paul Trucks, Herman Wallace Trucks, Claude Hudson Trucks and Lindley Lamar Trucks. She is survived by a sister-In-Law, Nella Brancato of Fair Lawn, by many nieces and nephews especially, Elizabeth M. Van Hook of Clifton, Dorothy Ferriola and husband, John of Paterson, Christine Brancato Bole and husband, David of Washington Twsp. and Judith Brancato of Riner, VA and by numerous grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:30AM Tuesday at Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Road, Clifton followed by burial at Mount Hebron Cemetery
